After several years as Creative Director with a large scale entertainment firm, Vanessa Burgundy opened Burgundy Room Gallery in the famed “Raymond Chandler Square” division of Hollywood, CA.

With a degree in Visual Communications and a background in Art, Performance and Music, it only made sense to open a gallery which combines all 3. Burgundy Room Gallery (sharing it’s namesake with the infamous bar next-door), exhibits traditional art as well as live performance and thought provoking installations. These highly curated shows are combined with purposeful music selection and draw a diverse underground crowd of misfit subcultures as well as Hollywood’s elite. Artists in residence have included Los Angeles icon Angelyne, celebrity entrepreneur and tattoo artist Kat von D, painter and illustrator Gary Baseman, punk rock oil painter Natalia Fabia, sculptural installation artist Scott Hove, and musician and photographer Moby as well as many up and coming artists of all genres.
